Cancellation Policy

A completed booking form and deposit are required to confirm your booking.

Covid-19 Cancellation Policy

As we learn how to live with Covid-19, we are encouraging all guests/groups & schools to take a lateral flow test the day before arrival.  Should a guest, member of a group or school class have to isolate due to Covid 19, and then the whole group has to cancel their booking with us, we will operate a policy of offering the opportunity for you to carry over all your payments towards a future stay at Min y Don.  If a future stay at Min y Don is not possible then our normal cancellation charges will apply, and we would ask that you check with your Insurance company to check what cover you have.

This policy will operate for cancellations that are purely due to Coronavirus / Covid-19 factors.

In the event of cancellation for reasons other than Covid-19, by either a group or individual, the deposit is non-refundable. Where cancellation occurs within 84 days of your arrival, the following charges apply:

Cancellation occurs Percentage of full fee due
Within 84 days (12 weeks) 60% – VAT
Within 56 days (8 weeks) 80% – VAT
Within 42 days (6 weeks) 100% – VAT

Cancellations must be made in writing and we will continue to hold your reservation until this written cancellation is received.

In the event of your course or holiday having to be cancelled by Min-Y-Don, you will be offered either a full refund or a similar visit on different dates.

Insurance

Our Centre is covered for public liability insurance. We recommend that guests consider taking out appropriate insurance to safeguard against risks such as theft, accident, or the cost of cancelling a holiday. We have arranged a suitable insurance policy through Guest First Insurance. You can download their leaflet here.
