We are so grateful, and praise God that we are able to celebrate 60 years that Min y Don has been open, providing holidays and residential experiences for families, church groups and schools.
As you will know the past 2 years have been unusual for everyone, and we were not able to celebrate in 2021 as we would have liked. Although we hoped that we would be able to get together, in person, with friends and supporters of Min y Don, it was not to be. We did ask for people to send us their memories, video messages and photos, we would have liked to get these out sooner, but with furlough this meant our team were not able to come into work, and when we were able to open again, time was focused on getting up and running again.
We hope that you will enjoy watching the video messages below.
We also want to say thank you for all of the photos and memories that were sent in.
We have put them together into a video below.
In 2022 Tony spoke to a group about the history of Min y Don. Listen to how it all began and few of the stories that have been part of the Min y Don journey.
Watch the second part of the time together, Pete talks us through some photos from Min y Don’s history.
As part of our celebration year, we were able to take part in the filming of Songs of Praise.
You can watch the clip focusing on Min y Don below.
